The Learning Center for Families DBA Root for Kids does not sell, rent, or share client or website-visitor information – including information submitted or used in our online program or employment applications and other services.
When you visit this website, we collect usage information through web-server access logs. That information may indicate the following:

Root for Kids does not capture any personally identifiable information about you unless you explicitly provide it to us. You may voluntarily provide additional information by using our contact request forms, surveys, donation pages, newsletter sign-up pages or by sending e-mail to addresses listed on our website.
If you submit your email address to us, we may occasionally e-mail you newsletters, solicitations, or announcements related to our services.
All donors have the option to have their gifts remain anonymous on our website and print publications by marking the appropriate box listed on the donation page or solicitation letter.
The security of your personal information is important to us. Donations made through our website (rootforkids.org) will show a green padlock next to the word “Secure” on the browser page of our third-party donor management software called Bloomerang. Please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
