Early Head Start
#COVID19: We are excited to announce that we are offering our services fully in person indoor and outdoor. Because of high transmission rates in Washington County our staff will be wearing masks. Families are not required but highly encouraged. Masks are recommended in group settings. Please refer to our Illness Policy before home visits and attending events.

Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children ages birth to three in Washington County, Utah. It is a comprehensive family development program that promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of infants and toddlers to ensure their school readiness. Our program follows the national Early Head Start model.
Services Include:
- Weekly individualized home visits
- Monthly parent activities
- Monthly playgroups
- Health screenings for children and pregnant women
- Nutrition information
- Child development information
- Parenting help
- Goal setting
- Help accessing community resources
Eligibility and Enrollment
Eligibility is based on income and families are chosen based on seriousness of need. Outreach is conducted throughout our service area to ensure that we reach the families who traditionally slip through the cracks.
