Early Intervention provides services to children who are showing developmental delay or who have a condition strongly linked with developmental delay such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or Autism. We serve families that live in Washington & San Juan County (Part C Provider for Utah Baby Watch Early Intervention Program) and in the Arizona strip (AZEIP).

Infants and toddlers learn best through everyday experiences and interactions with familiar people in familiar contexts, that’s why our team meets with caregivers in the home or other natural environments to provide the necessary support and resources caregivers need to enhance each child’s learning and development.

Services

Our team works with each family based on their child’s and family’s individual needs. After a full evaluation of hearing, vision, health and developmental domains, an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is developed in partnership with the family to identify the family concerns, priorities and resources. We then build upon and provide support and resources to assist family members and caregivers to enhance children’s learning and development through routine learning opportunities. Frequency and duration of services depend on each family’s need.

Cost

There is no cost to families for a full evaluation and Service Coordination. In Utah, a monthly family participation fee (includes all billable services provided in a month) is determined by a sliding scale fee. The fee is waived for families at/or below 185% poverty level. The sliding scale can be found here.
